Examples & value

Their search.
Your business. A reason to visit.

Explore a retail and salon customer journey. These scenes illustrate how a relevant offer could connect a nearby search with a visit to your business.

Illustrative retail journey: a nearby customer searches for T-shirts, sees a simulated buy-one-get-one offer, and is connected to a demo store on a neighborhood map.
MicroBurst for retail. A product search, a timely offer, and a reason to choose your store. Simulated search and location—not a live ad or measured customer visit. Select the image to see the full-size video frame.
Illustrative salon journey: a lash-lift search connects to a simulated Thursday service offer and a demo salon.
MicroBurst for salons. The video’s lash-lift example shows a service-discovery opportunity. Scheduling, appointment availability, and the placement are illustrative.
Illustrative retail economics: a 20-dollar advertising test divided by 10 dollars contribution per additional order equals two additional orders to cover advertising. Platform fees are additional.
Make the first test a business decision. In this retail example, two additional orders at an assumed $10 contribution cover $20 advertising. Subscription costs are additional; this is not a sales forecast.

What is the subscription worth to your business?

A repeatable way to spot opportunities and prepare promotions can save time. Judge the subscription against that time saved and the incremental contribution your promotions actually generate.

(Monthly subscription + advertising costs)
÷ contribution per additional order
= additional orders needed to cover those costs

Use contribution after offer discounts and variable costs. Advertising costs are separate from the subscription. Repeat visits are an opportunity, not a return already earned.

Frequently asked questions

A few things to know before you start.

What does MicroBurst do?

MicroBurst helps local merchants turn point-of-sale and business signals into promotion opportunities. It recommends a Burst—a local promotion to review—so you can decide what to promote, when, and to whom.

Who is MicroBurst for?

Local retailers, cafés, restaurants, salons, specialty shops, and service businesses that want a clearer path to their next customers. Business-type examples describe opportunities; access depends on supported connections and product readiness.

Which point-of-sale systems can I use?

Support is starting with one integration. See the supported connection and beta steps for details. If you use another system, select it on the Founder Cohort form so we can understand your needs. Selecting it does not mean an integration is available.

How do I start trying MicroBurst?

Join the Founder Cohort with your name, email, and business name. Share your point-of-sale system if you know it. We’ll follow up with product previews and information about beta access. When invited, you can connect a supported system and try a promotion preview.

Does joining start a paid subscription?

No. Joining the Founder Cohort is an expression of interest. It does not create a paid subscription, activate advertising, or guarantee beta access. Review the current offer and terms before starting a product trial or subscription.

Are advertising costs included in the subscription?

No. The platform subscription and third-party advertising costs are separate. Consider both when evaluating whether a promotion makes financial sense for your business.

Will MicroBurst run promotions without asking me?

You review recommendations and campaign previews before launch in the current release. A preview does not authorize ad spend. Live distribution requires readiness and your approval of the offer, budget, customer area, and timing.

Does MicroBurst guarantee more customers?

No. The goal is to help you find and test useful local customer-acquisition opportunities. Results depend on your offer, market, budget, timing, and other factors. The order examples are illustrative, not a promised result.

Is inventory the only signal?

No. Catalog, timing, available capacity, business goals, and merchant-confirmed information can also inform a Burst. Missing or stale data should not silently activate a promotion.
